The most awaited Chess Olympiad is here! It is one of the biggest tournaments in the history of chess with players from more than 175 countries take part in the 42nd Chess Olympiad at Baku, Azerbaijan. The small chess playing nation also has an opportunity to meet the top players in the event. In this Olympiad, we will have more than 7000 games to look far. Doesn’t that look a staggering number for an chess fan? Yes, we are equally exited for looking for more memorable events this Olympiad.

8cross8 would like to entertain the audience by publishing an Online Quiz ahead of every round in this 42nd Chess Olympiad. We have have eleven Quiz posts in this Chess Olympiad series.

The players would be ready for their first round. Simultaneously, we welcome the Chess fans to have their first round of Olympiad Quiz! We wish you all the best for your first round 🙂

 

Instructions:

1) We have 10 Multiple choice questions in every round.
2) If you refresh the page, then you have to start your round from the beginning.
3) We have a touch piece rule in our Olympiad Quiz where if you select an option for the question you may not be able to change it again.
4) We do not provide any prize for the winners. However, the participation certificate is provided all the players in the form of results at the end which you can show to your friends by sharing in Facebook, twitter and google plus.
5) In case of any mistakes, corrections in the questions/answers, please drop your suggestions in the comment section.
